Children-in-Between (CiB) Programme
If you and the other parent are facing conflict in co-parenting, CiB can help reduce the negative impact of divorce on your children. There are two separate workshops which parents, and children aged 6 to 15, are encouraged to attend.
The programme is offered free-of-charge.
CiB (Parents)
Parents experiencing co-parenting conflict during or post divorce are encouraged to attend CiB (Parents). The programme takes place over 2 sessions of 2 hours each.
The following topics will be covered:
1. Practical Co-Parenting Skills
2. Ways to reduce parental conflict
3. Understanding the needs of their children in a divorce situation
Contact an agency to sign up for the programme.
CiB (Children)
Children who are caught between their parents or face challenges from parental conflict are encouraged to attend CiB (Children). The programme takes place over 3 sessions of 2 hours each.
The following topics will be covered:
1. Positive ways to cope with parents’ divorce
2. Exploring feelings and fears, myths and truths
3. Skills to share feelings
Contact an agency to sign up for the programme.
If you and the other parent are not facing any conflicts in co-parenting, but hope to minimise the emotional and behavioural problems your children experience, you may wish to sign your children up for CODIP instead.
If you are uncertain which programme is suitable for your family, you may speak to a counsellor at a Divorce Support Specialist Agency (DSSA) or FAM@FSC. Find your nearest agency here.
“This programme is clear and concise. The scenarios shown in videos are relatable and allow us to
learn what is a better approach.”
