Going through divorce can be incredibly stressful. There is much to think about and many decisions to make. Even as you work out your next steps on your marriage, you need to look after yourself and practise self-care. This means taking deliberate care of your mental, emotional, and physical health. When your own well-being is taken care of, you will be in a better position to make good decisions for your family and yourself and be better able to support your children through the challenging times as well.
Some self-care strategies and activities can easily be added into your daily routine, whereas other strategies may require you to set aside time for practice. Do try them out and see which ones work for you and how you can incorporate these self-care tips into your life.
